When to see a foot care nurse

You can see a foot care nurse for many foot concerns including:

~ Corns

~ Calluses

~ Ingrown toenails

~  Fungal infections of the toenails and other nail conditions

~  Thickened or deformed toenails

~  Skin conditions of the feet

~  Bunions, hammer toes and other deformities of the feet

~  Peripheral Neuropathy (loss of sensation)

~  Foot ulcer assessment

*Diabetics are advised to see a foot care nurse every 6 weeks for assessment and care*
