Krista Boldt
LPN, Foot Care Nurse
A licensed practical nurse with a specialty in foot care, Krista has been treating satisfied clients for eight years. Krista enjoys working one on one with each client and personalizing the treatment option for their specific needs.
Krista is a 2015 graduate of the Licensed Practical Nursing program at Vancouver Island University. Krista spent some time working as an LPN in long-term care but after growing her family, made the decision to further her education and build her own foot care practice. Krista completed the Advanced Footcare for Nurses training through Camosun College in 2017.
Krista believes that the feet are one of the most important parts of the body that are unfortunately often neglected. Foot pain can become very debilitating as our feet carry all of our body weight on a daily basis. Regular foot care can greatly improve a person’s quality of life. Krista works with clients that have a variety of foot concerns such as corns, calluses, fungal infections of the skin or toenails, deformities of the feet such as hammer toes or bunions, ingrown toenails, and more. Krista works regularly with diabetics as diabetes is a condition that affects circulation and can lead to problems with the feet such as foot ulcers and loss of sensation known as peripheral neuropathy.
In addition to practicing as a foot care nurse, Krista enjoys spending time with her three children, baking, and crafting. Krista often spends her weekends out at the soccer fields watching her son play and walking her 10 year old beagle, Nova.
